This page explains how to delete your EZ Buckets account and what happens to your data when you do. EZ Buckets is a basketball stat tracking application developed and operated by Miguel Software Publishing Service ("MSPS," "we," "us," or "our"). You can delete your account at any time, directly from within the app or by contacting us at the email address listed below.
1 Delete Your Account From the App
The fastest way to delete your account is from within the EZ Buckets app on your device. Follow these steps:
- Open the EZ Buckets app and sign in to your account.
- Tap the Profile tab at the bottom of the screen.
- Tap the Settings icon in the top-right corner of your profile.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
- Confirm the action when prompted. Your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted immediately.
This action is permanent and irreversible. Once your account is deleted, your data cannot be restored. If you wish to use EZ Buckets again, you will need to create a new account.
2 Request Deletion by Email
If you are unable to access the app, for example because you have lost access to your device or your account is locked, you can request account deletion by contacting us directly.
Send an email to hello@ezbuckets.app with the following information:
- Subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
- The username associated with your account
- The email address used to register the account
- A brief confirmation that you wish to permanently delete your account and all associated data
We will verify your request and process the deletion within 7 business days of receiving your email. You will receive a confirmation message once your account has been removed.
3 What Data Is Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently and immediately removed from our servers:

4 What Data May Be Retained
In most cases, all of your data is deleted immediately when you request account deletion. However, certain limited information may be retained for a short period for legal, security, or operational reasons:
- Backup snapshots: Our database backups may contain your data for up to 30 days after deletion. These backups are encrypted, are not accessible by other users, and are automatically purged on a rolling basis.
- Anonymized records: If you participated in shared games or leagues with other users, basic non-identifying records of those games (such as final scores) may remain visible to other participants. These records do not contain your username, profile photo, or any identifying information after deletion.
- Legal compliance: If we are required to retain certain records by law, regulation, or legal process, we will keep only the minimum information necessary and for no longer than required.
We do not retain your personal data for marketing, analytics, or any commercial purpose after deletion.
5 Before You Delete
Account deletion cannot be undone. Before you proceed, consider the following:
- You will lose access to all your saved games, stats, badges, and team memberships.
- Any leagues or teams you created and managed will be affected. If you are the sole administrator, please transfer ownership before deleting your account if you want them to remain active.
- If you want a copy of your data before deletion, please contact us at hello@ezbuckets.app and we will provide an export.
- If you simply want to take a break, you can sign out of the app instead of deleting your account. Your data will remain intact, and you can return at any time.
