Privacy Policy
We collect only the information necessary to provide the App's features. The data we collect falls into two categories:
A. Information You Provide Directly

| Password | To secure your account. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and are never stored in plain text. |

| Game data | Basketball games you create, including team names, player names, jersey numbers, and stat events (points, rebounds, assists, etc.). |
| Team & league data | Teams and leagues you create or join, including names, descriptions, and membership roles. |
| Social data | Users you follow, player stat claims, and badge showcase selections. |
B. Usage and Diagnostic Information
To understand which parts of the App people actually use, and to find crashes and bugs that would otherwise silently lose your stats, the App records a small, fixed set of usage events and error reports.

| Usage events | A fixed list of actions — opening the App, creating a league or game, finishing a game, claiming your stats, viewing a box score or profile, earning a badge, exporting a share card. Each event carries only internal ID numbers and fixed labels. |
| Account identifier | Your account's internal ID number, so usage and crashes can be linked to one account. Your username, email and photo are never sent. |
| App and device details | App version, operating system version, device model, screen size, language and time zone. |
| Crash and error reports | Diagnostic details when the App crashes or a stat fails to save, including the technical stack trace. |
Usage events never contain anything you typed. Player names, team names, jersey names, league names, usernames and email addresses are not included. Error reports are filtered before they are sent, to remove any email addresses or account handles that might appear inside a technical error message.
C. Information We Do NOT Collect

While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
We do not share your personal information with any third parties, except in the following limited circumstances:
Your email address is never visible to other users of the App. Only your username and profile photo are publicly visible.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed from our servers, including:
Usage events and crash reports are held separately, by PostHog and Sentry, and are not removed by in-app account deletion. They contain no name, email address or photo — only your account's internal ID number, fixed labels and technical details. If you would like those records deleted as well, email us at the address in section 11 and we will remove them.

EZ Buckets is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information as soon as possible.

The App uses the following third-party services:
We do not integrate any advertising networks, social media SDKs, or cross-app tracking tools. PostHog and Sentry are configured so that they do not receive your IP address, do not derive your location from it, and do not record your screen.
Your data may be processed and stored in servers located outside your country of residence. By using the App, you consent to the transfer of your information to facilities operated by our service providers, which may be located in different jurisdictions. We ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
